On this episode, we move the show to Chicago where Photo Brigade's very own Pixel Pimp, Photo agent Warren Winter of PSG chats with two former Chicago Sun-Times staff photographers Rob Hart and Brian Powers, who were unceremoniously laid off, along with the rest of their photography staff. Nearly 30 in all. Warren gets right down to business as they discuss the meeting where it all went down, how it's effected their lives, the outpouring of support from the photojournalism community, and what's next for them. In this noisy episode, I chat with my pal Michael Rubenstein who's a freelance editorial and advertising photographer based in New York City. Michael and I met while he was attending grad school at Ohio University while I was just a lowly undergrad. Michael has traveled the world making pictures for some of the biggest publications and companies in the world, from the New York Times to Master Card. In 2008 while living in Mumbai he found himself in the middle of a deadly terrorist attack and became the go-to photographer for the New York times covering his first, and hopefully last conflict zone. Now back in New York City, last year got in a terrible motorcycle accident that has sidelined him for the past year  and he's been recovering ever since. I caught him while at a coffee shop in my neighborhood just prior to a meeting he had with a new client. In this episode I chat with my pal and veteran SF Bay-area sports photographer Brad Mangin, who was in NYC this past week to, among other things, speak at the Apple Store in SoHo about his not one, but TWO new books he's just had published. The first, Never Say Die,  a book full of all his great photos of the 2012 World Series Champion SF Giants, and the other Instant Baseball, a book chalk full of all his Instagrams from the same season. We talk a lot about the business of photography, the importance of retaining one's copyright, the recent news of the Chicago Sun Times photo staff being fired .  We find out how one of my favorite websites, SportShooter.com, a site he co-founded came to exist.
