King, who was a few years behind Robert in college and they followed a very similar path in the photo business, both growing up in Ohio and being inspired by the same photographers at The Columbus Dispatch, where they both interned before starting their careers. Robert became a freelancer and Michael became a staffer where he’s currently working for the Wisconsin State Journal covering sports full-time. He’s also national secretary of the NPPA. They discuss everything from getting into photography, the state of the photo industry, and the importance of supporting organizations like the NPPA.
